How it runs without a download
The recorder is a standard web application built with React and WebAssembly. All recording, processing, and storage happens using browser APIs — getDisplayMedia for screen capture, getUserMedia for mic/webcam, IndexedDB and OPFS for file storage.
Because everything runs in the browser sandbox, there is nothing to install, update, or uninstall.
No-download website recording
For a website walkthrough, open the site you want to show, start the recorder, and choose that browser tab in the share dialog. This keeps the clip focused without asking you to install a desktop recorder first.
If the website plays sound that must be included, use tab capture and enable the audio option when Chrome or Edge shows it. Always play back a short test before a longer recording.
